Enterprise RAG in 30 seconds: retrieve, authorize, cite, evaluate Silent video: no voiceover or music. This transcript gives the on-screen words and describes each scene. [0:00–0:05] Enterprise RAG: Search your documents first. Then answer. Four checks help you assess the answer. A signed-in employee (Sales, Riyadh, verified by the server) asks: “What's the hotel limit for my Jeddah trip?” A grid of company documents appears, with an empty answer slot at the end. [0:05–0:10] 01 · Retrieve: Find the passages that match the question. Semantic or hybrid search ranks the closest chunks. A search beam sweeps the documents. Four light up in ranked order: 1 Executive travel addendum (Leadership only), 2 Travel policy (All staff), 3 Riyadh office handbook (Riyadh staff) and 4 Finance approvals memo (Finance only). Each becomes a passage card under “Top matches”. [0:10–0:15] 02 · Authorize: Filter by permission before the model reads. Identity comes from the server, never the prompt. The passages line up at a permission check tied to the user's server-verified identity. The executive addendum and the finance memo are locked out. The travel policy and the Riyadh office handbook pass into the model context. [0:15–0:20] 03 · Cite or decline: Cite your sources, or decline to answer. A citation shows the source. It isn't proof. Only the two permitted passages support the illustrative answer: “Jeddah hotel limit: see travel policy [1]. Approvals: Riyadh office [2].” Lines link each citation to its passage. A question about executive hotel rates gets: “No source you can access covers this.” [0:20–0:25] 04 · Evaluate: Test retrieval, permissions and answers. In Arabic and English, after every change. An illustrative test sheet, not measured benchmark results. A bilingual test sheet scores four cases, two in English and two in Arabic, for right sources, permissions held, supported claims and correct declines. One Arabic answer is flagged for review. [0:25–0:30] TecnoStack: Grounded. Permission-aware. Tested. Read the full guide on the TecnoStack blog. Four icons recap the steps: retrieve, authorize, cite and evaluate. The TecnoStack logo and tecnostack.com close the video.
